Terms of Service

NjangiMe is software that helps a trusted group organise a rotating savings circle: tracking contributions, managing the picking order, and giving members shared visibility.

• NjangiMe is not a bank, e-money institution, payment institution, lender or investment product.
• We never hold, pool, control or transmit your funds. Payments move through regulated third-party providers, directly between you and your circle's nominated account.
• We do not guarantee that any member will contribute, or that you will receive a payout.
• Bank account information shown in the app is read-only and provided through TrueLayer, an FCA-authorised Open Banking provider. NjangiMe can read balances and transactions for a connected account but can never initiate a payment from it.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• You must give accurate registration details and keep them current.
• One person, one account. Duplicate accounts using the same email or phone number may be removed.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.

Circles are private. There is no public directory and no way to discover a circle without an emailed invitation from its admin. Invitations expire and can be revoked.

• Admins set the contribution amount, frequency, member count and picking order, and are responsible for those choices.
• Admins must treat members fairly when adjusting the picking order or removing a member.
• Admins are responsible for the circle's subscription fee.

Contribution obligations are agreements between circle members, not with us. We record status (paid, pending, late, missed) based on the information our payment and banking providers return. If a record looks wrong, raise it with your circle admin and contact us so we can investigate.

NjangiMe generates simple risk indicators from payment timing patterns to help admins spot problems early. These are informational signals, not credit scores, affordability assessments or advice, and must not be used to make lending decisions.

• Up to 10 members: $12 per month. Up to 30 members: $25 per month. Above 30 members: $1.25 per member per month. All subscription fees are charged in US dollars (USD), regardless of the currency your circle saves in.
• Fees are billed monthly or annually in advance to the circle admin and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not pro-rate part-periods unless the law requires it.
• Invoices and receipts are available in the circle billing area.

• No fraud, money laundering, or use of NjangiMe to organise anything unlawful.
• No impersonation, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to bypass access controls.
• No uploading of documents belonging to another person without their permission.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

We work hard to keep NjangiMe available but provide the service "as is" without warranties that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a member failing to contribute, and our total liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Your data. Some circle records are retained as described in the Privacy Notice.

We may update these terms and will notify account holders of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions: info@njangime.com.
